Online marketing is a blast, for the simple fact that it’s fun, effective, and allows you to pour your unique creative talents into letting the world know that you and your business exist.

Even better: there are TONS of low-cost or FREE online marketing tools of which you can take advantage to gain publicity, find customers, and build your profits! If learning to use these tools sounds good to you, then my team and I are here to help!

Online marketing is essential these days, and definitely doable once you understand how to use the tools. Once you have this knowledge, you are sure to get your business percolating! (Yeah, we use a lot of coffee lingo around here. You’ll have to get used to that!)

Trust me, I know how daunting – and expensive – marketing can seem. As an author trying to grow my brand, I got extremely frustrated with trying to set up a business and get my name out there. I didn’t understand marketing basics. I was intimidated by technology. I was mentally, emotionally, and financially stalled by my inability to promote myself.

Somehow I managed to sell some books. But I had no idea why what worked worked. And without a comprehensive marketing plan, or a clear understanding of how to effectively use business and social networking tools, I wasted a lot of time and money.

But then I began to understand marketing basics — and how quickly and efficiently social media tools work to an online marketer’s advantage. How they will work to your advantage. We live in a great time of technology, folks! It’s foolish not to use it to build a loyal following and percolate your profits.

To date I’ve sold 16,000+ copies of my children’s book about a big-attitude tooth fairy — and it’s now available in three languages! Watch this terribly campy video to learn which languages they are!

So, while I’m still a copywriter, editor, and children’s author (my favorite books, beyond my tooth fairy book, are my activity books on the ancient Maya and World War II — oh, and a book for reluctant readers that teaches them how to devise cool pranks like making their own fake vomit), I also decided to launch Creatives Marketing, to help writers and other creative entrepreneurs find success with online marketing.

I’ve now spent hundreds of hours (and thousands of dollars!) studying marketing, social media, and business basics (not to mention all the tools an online marketer needs such as a blogging platform, shopping cart and autoresponders!).

Why? To help you get your marketing percolating from the get-go!

Trust me: marketing is the key to YOUR business success. And online marketing, with its wonderfully viral “word-of-mouth,” will help you to effectively engage your target market(s), so that you more quickly move them from consumer to customer — to raging fan. (Which is a good thing — as opposed to a rabid fan. Those people are just nuts. HA!)
